SECURITY OFFICER

JOB TITLE:
FT/PT Security Officer
SALARY:
$12.00 – $17.00 per Hourly
Kane Security, a division of Kane, is now hiring security officers for patrol and posted positions in Utah, Salt Lake, Davis, and Weber counties. Full Time, Part Time and Flex Shifts are available.
Current starting rates are from $12-$17 per hour

DESCRIPTION:
Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain safe and secure environment for customers, guests and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
• Patrol industrial or commercial properties to detect and prevent signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and/or evict violators from premise
• Write reports of activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Investigate disturbances.
Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when switchboard is closed.
• Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Circulate among tenants, visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
Job Requirements:
Possess an active current Utah Security License (Unarmed) OR applicants are ABLE TO BE licensed as a licensing class is available.
• Must have a clean criminal record
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess strong customer-service skills
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be drug free (Random testing is done)
• Must be at least 21
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be a legally documented citizen
• Must speak fluent English (Spanish a plus)
Skills/Qualifications:
Able to lift and carry 75 lbs. Surveillance and observational awareness. Able to deal with Uncertainty, use best judgment and objectivity when dealing with situations. Applicants must show dependability, emotional control, integrity and professionalism. Computer and writing skills are a must.

FLEX – Security Officer
SALARY:
$2,800 per Month
This Posting is for a FLEX PositionCurrent starting rate is $2,800 per month, guarantee of 80 hours every two weeks
Current starting rates are from $12-$17 per hour
This position has no set hours and no set shifts. This position will require a truly flexible person able to work short notice and last-minute assignments on varying schedules. We will guarantee 80 hours every two weeks. You may be assigned to help in the office during some of those times. You will also be trained on all positions and all posts, and must be willing to work every post. A reliable vehicle is a requirement of the position. Mileage will be reimbursed on some postings.

EVENT SAFF

Event Staff
SALARY:
$10.00 – $14.00 per hour, based on Applicant’s experience.

This is a job that you can work while working a REGULAR full time job. This is a great job for those who are looking for extra money during the summer. Refer your family and friends!
The tasking in these positions would include bag checks, ticket taking and searching persons entering venues and private events. We are looking for staff for up-coming events for the summer months. Event seasonal work is in high demand typically May through October.
WE WILL TRAIN YOU! Experience in customer service and security is always preferred, but not required. We will train you in the tasks and assignments of Event Staff. Licensed Security Officer positions are also available.

The tasking in this position would include on site medical response, emergency medical assistance, triage capability, and other medical capabilities at venues and private events. We are looking for experienced medical personnel to join our ranks.

• Completing necessary reports
